Reverse osmosis is a process based on the use of semipermeable membranes, which allow water to pass through them while rejecting some of the excess dissolved salts, bacteria viruses, pesticides, and heavy metals. Water entering the plant undergoes pre-filtration with a 5-micron filter to remove any suspended solids and an activated carbon filter that ensures the removal of chlorine. The water is then pressurized by a pump and passed through osmotic membranes. At the outlet on the purified water is an Alkalinizer filter for pH stabilization. The concentration of mineral salts (Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, etc...) in the purified water can be set at will thanks to an internal system that allows us to increase or decrease the amount of mineral salts dissolved in it. Ultimately, OsmoBoat selectively retains excess mineral salts, nitrates, nitrites, pesticides, bacteria, viruses, chlorine, heavy metals, and all pollutants potentially harmful to humans, while maintaining the proper salt balance.
